It was good to be together again. . .snapping all the moments yesterday. . .that is Handsome and I. I havn't been doing all that many wedding projects with him since I had Beau, but it really was nice to be on location together being creative again. I love him. In between the events we went downtown and had a quiet Thai lunch at Thaiphoon. We are lucky we can share everyday together even if we are working, we're still together, I love it!

Hair, Names. . . my randomness
Well of late with my short cut I am not sure if I feel quite myself, maybe because I pregnant, so I again have decided to grow it out. . . this doo or length is my next goal since its just about what my hair does (not much I know and its good at flipping like that). And then I think I'll grow it a bit more and possibly bangs. . I don't know. . .this time I will not cut them myself if it happens.

Mineral Makeup
So we have test products for the new pH Miracle organic all natural mineral makeup line. I need input on the name. Do you like Ashley Rose Minerals OR pHace Minerals??? The pHace name goes with the whole pH concept but there is also power in just a name. I hope to be able to put this together soon and hopefully the baby line. I am grateful I have my parents to help and someone to formulate it; now its just organizing ideas and coming up with how to market it. Its nice that I have photography and Matthew film back round, this will also be helpful.

Memorable Memorial
Saturday our family woke up early to go up to Salt Lake Downtown cemetery to honor some of our family that has passed. We picked up Granny and Uncle Dane and first stopped at my Grandpa Jerry's grave. He is my step Grandpa but the only one I really knew. . .it was because of him my Mom is an amazing artist and from that we were blessed to learn and grow a passion for art. Every time any of us kids completed an artistic piece Mom always says Grandpa is so proud. And now CharLee has the same passion. Dane was so cute as he made sure all the flowers were presented perfectly and anchored them down. We then visited my Grandpa and Grandpa Young's graves. I knew them most of my life and have so many fond memories with them at holidays, swimming in the pool, Grandpa in his chair and Grandma making little snacks in the kitchen in her oh so clean way. Like my Grandpa Jerry and his blessings, our Young side is something to be proud of as it continues to dawn on me that I really come from Brigham. I feel a little guilty that I don't know as much as I probably should about such great progenitors. We also went to visit my Granny's Fathers site and viewed the 1 of 5 wives we come down from. I guess I have no choice but to be grateful for polygamy, I am a product from it on both sides, without it I wouldn't be here. After the Cemetery me the kids and Mom went to Hogle Zoo. The kids loved it. It was fun to see CharLee walk Beau around like a puppy in her "don't get lost " harness. We made a quick stop for caramel popcorn at the infamous Trolley Square on the way home and then it was off to bed after such a long day of great memorable fun.

A Strong Woman vs a Woman of Strength
pic by Ashley Lisonbee: CharLee & Isabeau
A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape. ....but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape.
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything. ....but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear.
A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her. .... but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone.
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future. .... a woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be God's blessings and capitalizes on them.
A strong woman walks sure footed. .... but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls.
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face. .... but a woman of strength wears grace.
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey. .... but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong...

Food Storage : A commandment not request
Last night I went to the most amazing and motivating enrichment night on how to make food from our storage and more than that just inspiration to really go for it and do it. It was amazing to really think about it. The church now more than ever before is really educating us, especially the young marrieds, to make it a priority NOW. One sister gave many examples of why, she read the most great quote from Boyd K Packer that stated we are responsible for our own family after we marry, we are not to depend on other family members, friends or the church to take care of us if there is a need or a disaster. It said something like the church has enough to feed only about 14% of the members and that our neighbors and friends probably don't have our family in mind if something happens. . . it is up to US (especially as the woman) to research and be educated enough to do it, and not to procrastinate because we don't think its possible right now. All of the excuses we give ourselves were talked about from , "I don't have kids yet to not enough money, no where to store it", and the list went on. They also gave many examples to make it easy and also to not spend extra $ but to use our money more wisely. They also said to obey its not merely buying the food but knowing and practicing how to use it. They kept repeating over and over how important it is for us young married and mothers to do this NOW. An image that was created in my mind. . . what if Handsome or my children came and looked at me saying, "we are starving, what do we have?" I hope my response is, "we have plenty.". The teacher gave us a promise that if we just pray and start, a way will be provided, but it won't come without some sacrifice and work. So I continue to give up cute shoes, hair and nail pampering, latest style clothing and other momentary gratification selfish wants so we can be prepared and I have peace of mind that I obeyed the prophets council. Do we like the ten virgins put off preparing our oil for the Bridegrooms arrival, do we procrastinate and justify or make excuses, or do we just have faith, listen and obey. I am trying my best family.

The "Only Daughters" Club
Saturday Mom, Me, Isabeau and Granny all took each other out for a "Mothers Day/ Only Daughters" outing. Isabeau is an only daughter of an only daughter of an only daughter of an only daughter. . . hence the 4 generations of "only daughters", and I feel this next babe is a Boy and most likely my last. I was a little nervous to have a girl when Beau came along because I grew up with all brothers and almost all my friends were guys. However, I think I will have a good idea of what to expect from an only daughter. . . sassy, spunky, sweetness and above all extremely independent. The pattern is already manifesting.
