Thanksgiving Tree Hunt 2011

This year we spent Thanksgiving out in Ioka with Matthews Grandparents. The kids always love to go out to the Ranch where they can frolic with the cousins and hear the Moo cows in the morn. We ate at Aunt Lisas. To end the celebration we went up for a 4 hour excursion in the snowy Uintas to find our little tree for our home. We were so proud of the Buick it made it the whole way. The kids loved playing in the snow and the search for the tree. Matthew and I even woke up early and ran the Turkey Trot down the lane...in honor of the Jenkins:)

A Much needed Family Time

Park City! Yeah! I have so many fond memories of this beautiful place. Strolling Main street, Art Fairs with Mom, Skiing, Good Food, Hot Cocoa and Snuggling by the fire as it snows. Mom and Dad Lisonbee were so great to let us use their condo for a few days. We did main and ate a lovely breakfast at the Eating Establishment. Found a few Christmas gifts on Main and some other interesting things:)Swam and Swam and snuggled in the room.

My Beautiful Heartbreak/ Refiners Fire (Up to this point)

This song so touched my heart and I shed many tears. It was funny because after fast sunday I was ready for bed feeling very lethargic and felt a strong push, prompting to sit down and release my Refiners Fire up to this point:)
So this post is mainly for me to clear, let go and release the fear and pain from these refiners moments in my life and replace in my heart the healing power of my Saviors love and his wisdom to break me down so I can be humbled and built into who He intends for me to become:)
This is my story and my own testimony of my personal experiences that have refined me up to this point in life. How blessed I am.
Matthew and I were married Dec. 8,2001. Shortly after we were married, we were soon to be new parents to our baby boy CharLee. 21 weeks along, I had 3 grand mal seizurs and found I had an astrocytoma tumor in my brain. The doctors gave me the option to operate and we prayed and felt wait. I also remember Matthew saying maybe this is why you have your parents health knowledge. We did not have surgery. CharLee was born C-section and beautiful. So thankful to be a Mother but struggled with not knowing how long I was to be around and so I admit was very smoothering of him and my hubby, who wouldn't be:)
CharLee grew and I remember not even being able to take a breathe without him near. I just treasured every moment. We ended up moving to California for a time and Matthew and I were blessed to live and work at my parents Center. He worked in the office and I worked in the kitchen and taught Yoga (certified in Utah before we moved). While living there I was told CharLee was not as developed in speech and we went through autism assesments for him. They concluded that it was probably a slight form or maybe just a delayed speech. It was hard to think my first little guy might have to deal like this in life and heartbreaking in a way as a mother to have to drop him at therapy at 2, but for some reason I did not feel he would be too limited, but rather very gifted.
We were blessed over the next 5 years but still had our struggles. We moved many times, to California and back to find ourselves hopeful to buy a first home after starting our little Living Art Digital Business together ( we did photo and video). Instead, I found myself back in the hospital. I had developed a growth in my right female tube:) Of which was caused from my IUD dropping out of place and pulling some kind of infection up. Backing up, I was counseled to get an IUD after my head struggles. It was probably one of the most frustrating struggles I have been through. I stayed in the hospital for about 10 days with a fever until we prayed and decided to operate. During this time in the hospital, the doctors weren't sure I would pull out and was told I may not have any more children due to the infection. I remember in the room that day, I felt two little peaceful spirits gently telling me they would come to our family.
A year later after many tears and relief we were blessed to not only buy our first home but to also be expecting our first baby girl, Isabeau Rose Lisonbee. She was born perfectly beautiful and another miracle baby. We had not been able to receive any health insurance for me with all my med past, and we were self employed, and so we had a waiting period until I could be covered. Well, Little Beau must of knew that because I found out I was pregnant with her a week after my insurance became active.
So our beautiful little Beau was born and blessed our life with her vibrant energetic spirit we all love.
Time went by and after the calm came another great refining storm in our life. Beau was only 16 mos when I found out I was expecting another little spirit...our sweet Andilyn. I remember though instead of tears of joy I felt fear. We had just gone through a very tough year with our business and the hope of keeping it and our home were not great. So being very baby ill and fearful...I remember thinking how can I feel this way, watch my hubby frustrated with our income and prepare to leave our home of which we waited 8 years and built for. Why was Heavenly Father taking this away? I will say it was very very very hard. I remember showing our home to young couples that loved the way we designed the home, and being so sick and so down I felt very empty. How could we go on. I began to think of our strong pioneer ancestors who left their homes and we prayed and fasted, and once again relied on Faith and Hope and Trust to carry us through. Just like the time with my Tumor and having CharLee being so scared, being told I may not have any more children, loosing my health again and again, loosing our income and now loosing our home. I will say that as humbling as this was, I know Heavenly Father did not leave our side, he walked right with us. A good friend called us after hearing of our struggles and offered to buy the home so that we might not take such a loss, and He in his charity took the hit for us. My pregnancy went well and I delivered another healthy baby girl on a serene snowy day at AF hospital. Our little Andilyn Snow angel came to our family. I think my Heavenly Father knew I would need her sweet face to look at every day as the next 2 years after her birth would be very emotionally trying. Shortly after she was born I was again broken in a way that I have never felt before. I was informed my Father had an affair with a woman around my same age and an innocent child was born. From that moment on I felt the most real painful empathy for a Mother and mourned my own Father. Why would he betray us? But in time and Heavenly Fathers power and peace I have been experiencing the healing power of the Atonement in my life. I am so grateful for this knowledge I have and was taught by my parents and I will honor them for that. So I now give this to my Healer, my Rock, my Redeemer and Savior and know He is there for us and continues to heal, bless and give miracles every day in my life.
We found a beautiful rental home close by. I remember praying, please Heavenly Father let me feel somewhat at home when I enter. My husband was blessed with employment through my Fathers business and has worked from home the last 2 years. CharLee is now in 4th grade, will not stop talking:) and is going to test into the ALL program, meaning accelerated learning (for very academic kids). I am also just so grateful for his Spirit, he has always been such a good example to me of how to live striving to be good, and he is. When he goes up each month to bear his testimony I am touched by his strong spirit. Beau is also thriving and doing so well...she is very head strong but I think I am finding out she melts with tenderness and lots of love. She is our beautiful little princess. And sweet Andilyn still remains to remind me of why I breathe every day, she does have her feisty moments in the morning, but overall I look at her and my other children and know I can go another day and I have a loving supportive Husband that has held my hand and blessed me all along the way. I know my Heavenly Father lives and loves us, hears us and blesses us with miracles every day. Thank you for my life, my beautiful heartbreaks that hopefully are molding me into who He wants me to become.Oh and I have been blessed to still live...my health is not perfect but my condition still remains to be stable:)In Gods will all things are possible.

Feed Family Well

So my good friend Jaryn started the cutest cooking blog.As I think of going back into some nutritional counseling, I thought her idea was such a great way to help people even more. So here is my attempt...I will try to blog each week my shopping list and where I go to get the items, my menu plan and even some food storage ideas. I don't know if it will be helpful....I just hope this way I can give without taking more time away from my little ones. I will also try to give tips on snack and lunch ideas for your littles. Be patient as I am not perfect and will be slow at times but will attempt to help where I can. I know how hard it can be to mother with all we have on our plate and want to feed yourself and your family well at a resonable price. So here we go:) Thank you Jaryn for your inspiration and example of an amazing friend and mother.

My Little Andi turns 2

Andi has been pure sweet joy in our family, well except for mornings...she is not a morning baby. She turned 2 this week. I don't want her to grow up she is so much fun. We gave her a monkey mini cabbage patch of which has her cute button nose, books (she looooves books, she falls to sleep every night with at least 10) and a potty book with some big girl undies. Hooray for potty training! I made her the healthiest pumpkin cookies I've ever made (tis the season for sickness)and grandma and grandpa Bee came to celebrate with us. Happy Birthday baby Andilyn Snow we love you.

Dancin in the Rain

I just have to say I am the luckiest woman in the world...to be married to a man who will dance crazily in the rain with me for an hour and a half. Heavenly Father sent me my perfect match.

I also love that our children love to dance just as much as we do...I will never forget little Andi head bobbing to the beat tonight. And Andi sang "Baby of Mine" to me before bed. Never forget these moments.

My little Angels

So having them both here..I think of when I was in the hospitol years ago, felt two little angels giving me strength..I wonder, was these two.

Beau I are becoming closer and closer. She really does look and act like I did when I was young, at least that is what Mom says. Beau wears pink, tutus and sparkles. She helps me with recipes and argues cleaning up. She asked me tonight how she can become a real fairy. The way to really reach Beau is with a lot of love...she is headstrong but so tender and sweet...I pray I can teach her well so she can use that strength for all things good:)She is also trying to be a little friend to Andi, as hard as it is to now have a sister who irritates her at times, she is really trying.

Andi is still our "Little One". She is also full of vivacious but sweet energy. She loooooves to dance and is very opinionated on the song she wants. She has the sweetest little singing voice. She started to sing "Baby of Mine," a song I sing to the girls before bed. One moment I will never forget is when she came and spooned with me on the couch, looked up at me and said," Mommy I got choo I got choo, You safe." She also still remains our lover of the climb. I caught her on the top of our piano, and still loves to flip backwards off the edge of our couch. I can see her going to sky dive someday with her Grma Bee. When she grows up, I have a feeling I won't want to know what she is doing until she gets home.

CharLee a Rock Star

So we are backtracking a bit...This is CharLee breaking it down the last day of 3rd grade. He also put together a very creative Graduation party.
CharLee is growing up to fast. In a month I will have a 10 year old, and what is even scarier is that Matthew and I got married when Lane was that age and now he is on a mission. Please time, slow down. CharLee remains to be tender, helpful, sweet, brilliant and a lover of all things movie,theme parks, creative and waterfilled. He has loved having a 7 peaks pass this summer. I love it when I can just talk to him before bed and hear his joys, ideas and fears. He also jsut has that in born spirit to know good. He bears his testimony and its his. I felt that when he was very young that he woudl be very spiritually strong amidst his physical challenges. One night He asked about how he would know when he finds the girl to marry...He replied, "well I think it maybe Aspyn, I don't know."

My Mother's Wisdom

Mom used to tell me growing up, Ill never forget: "When someone copies you it is the highest form of a compliment." I used to get bugged when someone would copy my art when I was little:) I know see this in a new light.
"Sometimes in Life you have to do things you really don't want to do, you just do it."
"Sometimes you wake up and you have no other choice but to go on, breathe and live another day."

Mom I know you may never know how much you have done for me and so many others but I want you to know You are my Hero. Thank you for teaching me loving me and helping through so many hard times and believing in me.

So I need to apologize and forgive myself for not posting. It was a so called journal of mine to express and document our family and was also very theraputic for me. After the birth of my third little Angel Andilyn and after some other major extended family drama I let it go....I am now going to try to return and post at least once a month...may this be a return. For my Family I cherish, life still remains sweet.

New Things

Andailyn has come in to her cute a bit feisty like her sister personality....independent. Like a girl should be but still so tender and sweet. A unique thing she started is when I bring her down from bed, she points to the piano and says "Dance". This was one of her first words:) I guess we may have a tiny dancer on our hands...I hope that would be so fun. Here she is doing her first art with Moma.

Beau is still our spunky joy. She started her dance class and loooooooves it. I became a bit teary eyed when I watched her do her first plies'.... I remember my first time,my Mom probablly felt the same. She also loves to do her puzzles. She has moved on from the Beaustroyer mode to creating 100 peice puzzles...this is more doable.

CharLee our creative mind continues to create organized fun in our home. He does theme parks, resturaunts, excercise classes, art classes, you name it he creates it. He also is becoming a great little pianist like his Dad, composing and writing. I also put him in swimming again. I feel it is the best for him and he has always loved the water since he was a baby. After class he had a big grin and asked if I thought he could become a great swimmer like in the Olympics...Of course son.

Admidst the last years difficulties...I have found my peace in the simple treasures of life, my family. I love you. Thank you for believing in me and keeping me on my feet.

December Performance

This past year I think my Father in Heaven knew that I would need to be surrounded by good faithful incredible women. These women are salt. He gave me this opportunity to serve and be a part of His message. I feel so blessed. My Luv and my littles came to the performance tonight. I love them. They ran to me when it was over and Beau said,"Mom I want to dance with like my friends and wear pretty dresses," and CharLee was so tender,"Mom I didn't know you could, I am so proud of you." I just now pray I can somehow help my children see their gifts and potential and go after their pure dreams.

Family Update

It has been hard to find the time to devote to our blog but if I am using it for a journal I know its importance. This year like all years has had its ups and downs. We continue to live simply happy and that is...we have each other and we have our Savior watching over us. Our children continue to grow and I wish I could just stop time a bit.

Andilyn is still sweet as ever....except when she deals with food and then she shows her feisty side. She turned one. We did a very simple home party with the Lisonbees and Essa. I made her sweet potatoes with pecan crust for a cake, and she looked adorable pushing her baby stroller. She has started to jab, she says Moma, Dad, Dog, Kitty,eyes, teeth. Speaking of teeth, she had an accident this week and we had to rush her to the ER and we are hoping her two bottom teeth will take re-root. It was extremely difficult to see her hurt....my heart ached but all is well.Andilyn has also started to wave goodbye and give the most tender kisses.

Beau started preschool this year and loves it. She continues to have a very inquisitive mind and gets into some mess most days...we are trying to break her of drawing on walls. She loves to draw and give her snow white a bath. Still loving all things pink and princess and demands to wear dresses every day. She also loooves her kitty and will drag her around like a limp doll. Amidst me trying so hard with the veggies, she is our sugar baby, always asking for a treat.

CharLee is now in 3rd grade and is doing well. He loves to create. He is always planning some sort of family activity. The other night he planned the "lets see if the parents can have fun party" and had Matthew and I play games he instructed. He continues to love to draw and entered his picture of his family at disneyland this year in reflections. He also is into creating his own movies and video games. He is continuing piano and wishes to take voice and acting lessons. I don't know what I would do without his tenderness, he is my great helper with the girls.

My Son turns 9

It is hard to believe my little boy turned 9 this week. CharLee you are our first miracle. From the doctors thinking I may have a hard time conceiving you, to you being quite the tropper to go through the seizures in my belly and then be bought into the world with a very scared mother having a C-section. Also the journey of early therapy and now to see how far you have come. I have always thought you to be my miracle child and now others look at you in the same way. You are a brave, sensitive and brilliant boy. We wouldn't have you any other way. I will continue to pray I can be the Mother you need to progress. i Love You. Happy Birthday.

My bohemian babee

Andilyn you bring us so much joy with your sweetness and hyper hours. She is now going on 11mos. She has been crawling and standing since six months. She is quite the mover. She waves and says hi, dada and moma. She loves her baby and crawling up to pat Daddy's head. She has four teeth and won't take a bottle, she prefers her camelbak. She also looooves the water, another water babee:) She has been my sweetness and peace amidst the storms of life.

Tomorrow my little Isabeau will turn 3.

I reminisce back to the hospital...4 years ago. I was laying in a room, alone. I was told the doctors would perform a hysterectomy if they couldn't get the infection under control. I was so scared, so weak. I prayed. I prayed for comfort, for answers. It was then I felt such a warm feeling of peace and felt two spirits strengthening me, telling me Moma it's okay we are here and we are coming. I then remember as the doctors came in to check me and I told them it was okay because I had more spirits coming to us.

A year past and I grew a little stronger each day as I slowly once again tried to rebuild my atrophying weak lithe body. I knew I would overcome,it was extremely hard, not by myself...only with the healing that my Savior could give, of which He gave 6 years ago when I went through trauma while I was pregnant with my little Boy. I being given many blessings knew and held onto my promise of healing and knew with Him all things are possible.

The year I found out our Beau was coming,I knew it was His miracle for us. We waited for six years to have the blessing of her beautiful lively spirit. She has taught me and I continue to pray I will be able to be inspired to be the Mother she will need to get through her life journey. First glance she was delicate,beautiful and strong. I thank my Heavenly Father for continuing to allow me to be a Mother to my 3 beautiful children, all of them came from much prayer, faith and pure miracles. Happy Birthday little Beau, Moma loves you. I love my 3 little guardian angels that came to our family to show me how to be a Mother.

Summer Began

CharLee finishes the 2nd grade with proud parents congratulating him with a BYU snuggly. Mom is so grateful for help with the girls. Days are waking up to little feet, squeaks and cereal tinkling downstairs, going on long walks, feeding ducks, swings, backyard water wading, loud music house tidying, picnic lunch making, dirty little foot prints, more water playing, good flicks and popcorn and tired tots (and Mom) after very active days:)

CharLee is very excited about his new computer Dad set up to write his book ideas. He still loves anything to do with water fun and is such a huge help to Moma. He continues to love to cook and watch I-carly...we all love I-carly.
Beau is sweet and spunky as ever making at least one disaster a day, but how can I stay mad when she says ,"mom you angry, I can't see your eyes". She is quite the diva dancer ;loves to go on moma walks, feed the ducks, find blowers and birds and runs almost the whole way.
Andi Has 2 toofers! Is luvy and cuddily and quite the mover...she scoots all over the house. She sits and eats in her highchair now and we love her hyper hours.
Matthew continues to write his Novel and we all cheer him on...go Luv!

Born to Dance

So I feel like I am either a little girl again or its Christmas. I am going to dance with a dance co group by the invite of a friend I danced with in highschool. We get to bring our kids to play while we rehearse together once a week for a few hours and then preform once or so a month. It is a company that preforms for Church functions to invite the spirit with its tender message. I think it is Heavenly Father giving me another little tender mercy. Especially during this time...

Feild Day with the Kids

It began early Friday with a long walk to CharLee's school...ruffed it through the crazy construction. The girls enjoyed their O so sugary otter pops as CharLee broke it down doing the Charlston. Afterwards we had a picnic with the brother and played in the sun. The girls were a bit wiped for the long trek home...it was actually nice:). CharLee said,"Mom Thankyou for coming, it makes me feel like you are proud of my talents, like singing and dancing and stuff."

My birthday was good. I had my little family around me and that was all I needed. I love the paintings that my Charlee and Mom did for me. I also loved goingto the park on a quiet picnic and I requested a raspberry jello cake of which Matthew kindly made for me. I love you family.

Woke up earlier this morning. Still very tired, sad at reality but joyful. I hear CharLee downstairs magically practicing the piano, I can't believe how self motivated he is. He is a blessing. Put my exercise clothes on, its a motivating thing, then tried to move slowly from one morning task to the next as to not awaken my anxiety. I feel grateful for a new day. Father has blessed me to live another day. Another day to kiss my Handsome, to applaud and hold my children, and to search and seek my meaning of what I am still here on earth to accomplish.
Last night I still felt the nausea, but knew I had to go. I left kids to Handsome to tuck into beds and I took off. I first made my way to Deseret Book just before it closed. I felt my hands trace over books that might be just right. I drove through the trees of the Alpine Home. Real vivid memories flashed, mostly sweet. I climbed the weather torn stairs. As mom lifted the blind she stood and smiled a grateful broken smile, we embraced a last before she would go tomorrow. We had sweet conversation. i love her. I know Heavenly Father sends his angels, he has to me many times. Came home, late, tired. Handsome greets me, he embraces me and I feel at home. I feel loved in so many ways.

I am so lucky to have such an amazing soul for a Mother. She is someone I truly love and look up to. Now that I am a Mother I now understand the Love and connection a Mother has for her children. Beautiful Easter Weekend

It was so nice to have such a beautiful Easter this past weekend and listen to our prophets. As I listened, I continued to think to myself "Do my kids know that I know," and how I can do better at helping them realize what Matthew and I draw our strength from. It is simple, Our Brother, Our Savior. I continue to thank my Father in Heaven for giving me my life and giving Us little lives to steward as I continue to learn it is His Will not Mine. It gives me such great Peace. We are so blessed.

Is the Easter Bunny real?

Charming CharLee

CharLee is our charming sweetheart. He had his first piano recital and did incredible. He for sure has inherited his fathers gift for music and ever since that night has been playing and writing his own music. He also continues to create in the kitchen and made a restaurant style dinner for our family last week, menus and all.

Bath time is never boring with Beau. I continue to run from room to room keeping up with the little beaustroyer. She will probably be some brilliant engineer someday with how she can rip tear or break things apart. Andi is a joy. Attached to her Moma and always happy and content. She has started to coo back and forth and follows you as you walk across the room. She hates to be left alone, except at bedtime. She loves her crib and sharing a room with Beau. She also prefers to be propped sitting up on Momas bed to see what's going on, and loves to suck on her newly found fingers. She also now sleeps from 8:30 to 6:30, I am blessed:)

Amidst lifes challenges, it is so sweet. I have been thinking a lot lately. Today about how blessed our family is. Our beautiful home, Matthew's work (at home to aid me:), my everyday spiritual emotional and physical healing, my children, our health and knowledge of healthy lifestyle, our everyday opportunities to serve others, our family, the gospel, our Savior and Heavenly Fathers love and concern for us.

CharLee continues to be my sweet sensitive helper. He still comes in and lays by me in the morn and rubs my head before he goes to school. He is so responsible. I never have to get him out of bed or remind him to get homework done. He loves his sisters. He brings Andi to me when she cries, gets Beau breakfast when I am so tired and dresses Beau for bed. I love it after he has dressed Beau and they come into the living room in their jammies hand in hand. He is sweet and brilliant. I feel honored to be his Mother and know I have a great responsibility to prepare him for his life mission
Beau constantly entertains us with her wit and destruction. As Matthew was carrying her down to breakfast she rubbed his shaven head and said, "I like this Daddy's head,it feeeels goood." Today she started singing "I am a Child of God" as she built with her blocks and tonight she told me a bedtime story about her Prince and Princesses dancing in love. I know someday we will miss her sweetness and her messes.
Andi is getting big so fast. I have felt instant bond with her sweet calming nature. She communicates to me so well, I rarely have to guess what her need is. She is smiling and also cooooing back and forth.

Moments before I went in to the operation room. Mom Dad and Mom Bee were there too. Bompa took care of the kids since they were not allowed in the hospital.

While they were prepping me, Luv put on his nice OR outfit.

The birth was a very touching miraculous spiritual moment for us. Our first gaze on our little Andi's sweet face.

I feel tremendously blessed.

Yeah! we finally have a binki baby. Andi is such a sweet peaceful little soul.

Last day in the hospital. . .it snowed. . .we got to surprise the kids a day early.

Beau has been sweet asking to hold and care for baby Andi.

The night we came home a day early and surprised the kids. It was like Christmas but better.

CharLee is so tender with his sisters.

Mom has been my right arm with the kids, thank you Mom. And my sweet husband has been everything I have needed and more through this whole experience. . .I could not have gone through it without him. I love you Matthew.

On the last day I was in the hospital I lay on my bed all alone little Andi and I. I looked up out my window and saw the most beautiful sweet serine gentle snowflakes falling from the sky. I became very emotional. This and all my pregnancies h ave been miraculous and precious. As I looked at the snow I reflected on the births of my 3 children and the promise I was given that i would have 2 more come to our family after CharLee. The night before in the hospital there was a storm and the wind was really intense. This is much like my experiences with my children coming to earth. It is a hard fight but in the end I am given the most beautiful gift. Hence, we decided to name our precious little girl Andilyn Snow Lisonbee. She is just like the gentle sweet pure snow that I was looking at coming down from heaven to bless our family. I am so blessed and feel such gratitude to my Heavenly Father for my endearing loving husband and our three miraculous gifts from heaven.

So if you haven't heard. . .Andi's arrival was delayed. We showed up at the hospital ready to go at 8am. Thank you everyone for your prayers. . .they did not do an amnio since my state is just like Beaus. After we left the amnio room, we waited for another few hours to prepare for the C-section and then received the news that my Doctor could not be located, and when they found him he was in surgery. Another doctor checked my fluid again and asked if we could wait until Monday the 26th. Sooooo I came home mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted from the anxiety of it all. . .but its all good. My kids were a little confused since we had prepared them the night before. Beau just looked at my belly when I walked through the door with the most confused look on her face. I now have more empathy for those who go to the hospital and come home because of false alarms. And so the "Endurance Baby" pregnancy goes on for 5 more days:)

Daddy's girl never likes it when the Luv has to go. It was a quick trip to film in CA this weekend. And no I didn't go into labor. So to pass the time ( a whole 1.5 days:) we. . .

They will try to do the amniocintesis. Please pray it won't be needed, it was fairly trumatic with CharLee.

The kids and I made the most delectable recipe (from Gr. Bee) of gooooooeey Autumn Popcorn this weekend. The kids then decided to make popcorn balls and give them to their friends.

Not so healthy but good for the heart once in a while:)Most Yummy!!!

Autumn Popcorn (Grandma Bee's)

1 C butter

2 1/4 C brown sugar

1 C white corn syrup

1 Can sweet condensed milk

*Cook on Med to soft ball stage

Pour caramel over 2 1/2 popper fulls (3 big bowls of popcorn) of Popcorn and mix.

Indoor Campout Party

Because I was in such a pregger state this season, we missed our yearly family camp outs. So this week we decided to do a Indoor camp out with the kids.

For those who know my Mom adore her and those who don't, love her vivacious comfortable loving nature when you first meet her.These past several weeks I have been so blessed to have her here serving me and my Family. She has shown such selfless service to Me my family, her Mother and many others. I am also so proud of her developing her God given talent of Art and then sharing it with not only me growing up , my kids and others she now shares with at her art school who I know are learning so much. She is an example of what our role of a Mother here on earth is supposed to be: serving, loving and nurturing her family, serving others and also developing her unique gifts and then sharing them. I am proud of her. She often says she feels bad she didn't teach me how to cook the "normal traditional" foods, but I know she has taught me exactly what I need for my own well being and my Family's health. . . and we are making our own fun traditions all while staying healthy. Especially now since I have seen such a difference in little CharLee. Mom I am so grateful for you and feel so blessed for all you have done and the years you sacrificed your desires to learn and teach the things to make our life a bit easier.

A Plan

With going even more serious about gluten, dairy and yeast free with CharLee; today we are making Yeast free tortillas for future vegan pizzas. (recipe in my Moms book: Back to the House of Health 1). It has been fun becoming more creative in the kitchen. In a way I have been already prepared for this because of my parents educating me. . .so grateful. If I can just find a good recipe for pizza crust I think we'll be set. We already don't have much gluten,yeast, sugar or dairy in our home. Next year the goal for food storage will be to store 25lbs of grain (millet,raw buckwheat, amaranth and quinoa) each month and then I can also sprout or make any necessary flours from these. Plans are in the making:) If you have any good recipes send them my way please:)

Prep for Luvs Bday

This week its prep time for Luvs 31st Bday. It probablly won't entail the party as we did for his 30th but I am excited.

This year I am creating/painting a Red Sox Logo Plaque for his office. This may not seem too exciting, but he has always loved the Red Sox since he was a little boy. He should love it hopefully.

As for his cake. . .his request is a mint ganache chocolate creation. Wish me luck.

Bottled our Red garden Tomatoes. Get ready family for lots of Tomatoe Basil and Gazpacho soups.

Dehydrated our delicious golden sweet tomatoes. . . they are candy for me and the kids!

You Know You Have a Princess. . .

. . .when I wore my stud earrings. And then says,

"oh its pocky, owweee?"

. . .and then says,

"I want pocky, I want Princess ears!"

2. She rubs lip gloss all over her face, legs, arms and hair and comes to you and says,

"How I Look. . . most Booootiful?!"

3. She looks into her closet after I got her all ready for the day and points up to the dresses, first the yellow one and says,

"I want to wear Belle princess!"

I then change her into her yellow church dress. She then admires herself and says,

"Nope, no like it, I want off me."

Then points to a pink dress and says,

"I want I Know You (meaning Sleeping Beauty) dress, Otay."

4. Its bedtime and she cry's herself to sleep because you won't paint her toes and fingers until morning.

The kids and I have been busy starting to pull out the Fall/Halloween Decor. We put up ghost lights in CharLee's room and a pumpkin in Beaus and officially hung up the Fall time wreath. We are coming upon our favorite time of year. . . I know its a bit early, but I will be down after the 18th of October, and I want to enjoy the season and kids before then.

Its hard to believe 8 years ago CharLee was my little babe, and now he is so grown up. Sept 5, 2009 you are baptised.

Kitchen Time

So with this little babe I have decided to do some of my own freezer food prep to help meals go a little smoother after I have baby. This will make it easier for me and Matthew and we can stay healthy.

This Week: Big batch of seed pancakes (to get the recipe go to phmiracleliving.com)

Week 2: Edamame burgers

Week 3: Dehydrated veggie crusts

Week 4: Roasted Mac Bell sauce (to go with Falafel) and hummus.

I will probablly also do our tomatoe canning and a few batches of berry freezer jam for Matthew. Then I can just whip up the veggies, shakes and salads and dinner is served!!!

So I must say I am a bit impressed with myself. . .with all that is going in our life right now, I actually managed to finish our own babes pictures.

I love my little ones. I feel so blessed to have the ability to capture these moments. CharLee is getting more handsome and tender each day and Beau more spunky and animated. In just a month these will expire and we will add sweet little Andi to our family, so excited!!!!

CharLee's "Ben 10" 8th Birthday Bash

CharLee is getting soooo handsome. I can't believe he is 8!Daddy was in charge of the birthday celebration this year. He did the shopping, the cake and decorating.Mommy just loves you to pieces.

Beau helped make, or rather eat the Cake.

Made you your favorite breakfast, pancakes.

Loves for Beau after she gave you your first gift that morning. She knows how you love a good superhero movie.

Then it was off to school. Mom brought balloons and grasshopper cookies to class that day.

After school, Dad took our family to the place of CharLee's choice. . Liberty Land and Chili's. You even asked the server to make sure to sing to you.

You even picked the right number boat unknowingly:)

That eve we celebrated with the Lisonbee's. CharLee style gift opening. . ."relax sensation style".

I love these tender sibling moments.

Beau with Soren, the only cousin so far.

Whitney gave you your own climbing harness. You have learned to climb and love it.

Grandma, Grandpa Bee, Lee, Jo, Whitney and Lane were here too. We played pin the Omni Trix on the Ben 10. Grandpa was sick after being spun and Jo was all over the room thanks to Lee.

Beau was such a good sport trying to understand it was your celebration day. She loved helping you.

The last gift was a surprise from Mommy. You broke through the barrier up to your room to see it.

Your own personal "relax sensation", reading swing in your room. You screamed you were so excited.

Then Dad perfected your cake he made decorating it with all kinds of Ben 10 fun things.

You were so excited when you realized the Ben 10 was you on your cake. . . what a surprise! Dad is so clever and thoughtful. He spent all day planning and working on your 8th Bday.

It was so fun to have our own little family celebration for your 8th Bday.

CharLee we are so proud of you. Love you. Mom Dad and Beau.

8 years ago its hard to believe that long ago, our CharLee came to us. Going through difficult circumstances with the pregnancy, he was such a miracle gift. CharLee I love you so much. You have made our lives worth living, you brighten my days and have taught me so much already. I love your sweet sensitive heart and your creative mind. I have loved being your Mom and hope many more years of happiness in seeing you grow to come. Let the Ben 10 festivities begin!

So I went in for my Doctors appt yesterday and they asked if they might check again to see if they could absolutley tell the gender; of course I said Yes. The verdict was unmistakenable. . .this is a little girl, no torpedos anywhere:) Andilyn Sage we are excited to see your little face!

This conversation took place in the car just as Isabeau had had an accident #2 in her pants and all over the car seat;

CharLee: OH YUCK! (as he looks at what has happened with Isabeau's accident)...

then he says:

Essa, why did Heavenly Father create poo?

Essa:... oh.. I don't know... it's just a bodily function that happens to all of us.... right?

CharLee:...ummm yeah... and also to animals... dogs poo... and....

Essa:... and cats too... all animals poo, don't they.

CharLee:... yeah... everyone poos.....

Essa: (laughing)... yeah! that's right... EVERYONE DOES..

CharLee: ... well, you know what I think?

Essa: ... No,,, what do you think?

CharLee:... I think Satan invented poo...... yeah, I think Satan created it... and also pee.....

Essa:.. (laughing ... laughing).... YOU DO? you think Satan did it, huh?..... ahahahaha well... now that I have to clean up this mess, I think you may be right!!! HAHAHAHAHAH

CharLee: (smiling).... yeah.... ok.. can I go play in the park now?

Potty Time Victory

So I think we are 98% potty trained. After princess prizes and chocolate bribery, Beau has been trained. She is now wearing Princess big girl panties and today told me she needed to go in a public store. . . now that is victory! Hopefully she won't regress much when the next little comes:)

For pHace Minerals I need your personal preference input. What colors do you love to wear. Do you like shimmer or matte and in what hues? This will be very helpful in the future when the line expands. So far I have 32 colors and there is more to come, so I would love any feedback you have.

Andilyn Sage (Andi for short)

This is hard. . . Maybe it is still a boy and we'll be surprised once again at the delivery.

SURPRISE!!!

So I went to the Dr. again today feeling mixed about finding out what I am having; but there was a part that said find out. The Dr.s verdict was very surprising, since we all KNEW it was to be a BOY; however, We are having a GIRL. It took me the drive home for it to sink in. I always just pictured me with one girl and maybe this is why Heavenly Father is sending another little girl. . . so I can figure out what cat fights are all about and Beau will be in heaven with a real life baby doll. Last night I also had the name Venice enter my head and I couldn't get it out the whole drive home. . . so maybe its Venice Jolie. . . or I still love the name Gwenyth Jolie. And now I have found the beautiful french name Adalise Belle? I really like that. Isabeau Rose and Adalise Belle Lisonbee:) Well maybe we'll just wait to see when she comes and what fits. There you go. . . SURPRISE!

Other Summer Things

This Summer so far as you can tell has been full of Fun and craziness, but most of the time we are at Home enjoying each other. Since our move, we have really bonded as a family since our neighborhood is kindof distant. I really love it. Beau and CharLee play with eachother, and I with them and just as a family. These are just a few pics of some of the other things the babes have been up too.

CharLee is taking piano from his Aunt Whitney and is doing so well. . .he is really naturally gifted at it.

Beau loves to be out in the sun, and barefoot.
CharLee always has a vivd imagination and is entertained by all his creative ideas. Right now he is working on a movie with his toy characters.

Lehi Roundup Week

First week in July we attending many of the festivities at the annual Lehi Roundup. We went to the Family Picnic in the Park.
CharLee was in the Mini Parade and played the part of his ancestor Young Brigham so he said.

We went swimming, to a Magic Show and the Grand Parade.

Both the kids got the "I don't like loud noises genes."

The kids scurried after the candy, Beau only claimed the chocolate and gave the rest to CharLee.

I love spending time with the babes, they are my playmates.

It was a fun filled Patriotic week!

Fathers Day 2009

Fathers Day

We made our Luv and Daddy his favorite breakfast: Veggie Omelette with spiced Muff Muffs.

Beau helped make him a big batch of his favorite Mrs. Feilds cookies.

The kids also helped make him his seasonal favorite: raspberry freezer jam.

Baseball Season

You all know we are baseball fans, Boston Red Sox of course. CharLee started his first year Coach Pitch this month. His team, Limeades.

It is so fun to pack up and go to his games every week. CharLee loves it!

4th on the Farm

For the 4th this year we did something a little different. We went out to Gr and Grp Cows Farm to play with the Nelson cousins for the weekend.

Puppy came along to run around with the other farm puppies and ran so hard in all the wide open space, she tore up her paws.

All the little girl cousins dressed up as Princess's, Beau was in Heaven.

CharLee played make believe for hours in good old ranch heaven with all the other cousins his age.

Beau ran around like she owned the place in and out of Grandmas and Aunt Joannes.

Mom looking very preggers tired but enjoying the quiet break from everyday tasks.

Beau barefoot enjoying the simple farm life.

Rain came along so CharLee built his own shelter so he could still keep score of the bad mitten game.

Everyday in the dirt made for dusty babies every night.

All the cousins ran around one evening for a treasure hunt. Beau found a pony and CharLee a Legos helicopter.

Sunday afternoon.

Grandma Bee brought her irresistible caramel popcorn.

Lawn chairs, good conversation, food, floating down the canal and much more is the Farm.

And horseback riding.

Babes were zonked for the trip home after the active 4th of July weekend on the Farm.

Summer Fun: Beaus 2nd Bday

Happy Birthday to our little 2 year old Princess Beau.

She wasn't too excited to blow out her candles, so Mommy helped. Daddy was the great cake mastermind.

Potty Practice for Beau has begun with her 2nd Bday. She is pretty defiant, but her parents are determined.

Minerals Here We Come

So our mineral makeup line is coming together really nicely. So far we have 3 pHoundations, 3 blush, bronzer, Finish, 14 pHabulous colors and 3 lip colors. It will be a fun start for the soft launch and then many more products to come like an all natural mascara etc.... I know need to get on the graphics and photography and then wallllaaah! we're in business. I think it will be such a great addition to everything my Dad has already done. In fact the Oxygen spray will be a perfect makeup setter, and it won't be hard to upsell the awesome natural facial products. This has been a fun little journey in creation. The name decided will be pHace minerals "an exclusive Ashley Rose makeup line." So excited!!!!
