So Busy in Life

So sorry for not posting of late. One of the reasons is my photos I want to post are not on the computer yet , and I struggle to post without some visual yumminess. Another reason is my life became a little less simple since being called to the Primary Presidency in our ward. I am very excited about it; however, it causes me to re balance and prioritize the things I can get to each day. I do this for my sanity. . . I tend to function better with less and a more simplified life. Hence, not a lot of time for new posts. I promise to be better next week. . .so I know all you friends will be standing by:) Luvs to you all. Happy Halloween!

Beautiful People

With the crazy work load I can feel overwhelmed; however, I am in awe of each person I get to capture. I really feel I know them almost in a more profound way after spending hours of shooting and editing. Here are a few pics of some beautiful people I felt honored to take and create.

Here it Is!!!

This is my new project.

(Temple Project Ashley Lisonbee Copyright 2008)
Long awaited, I have been envisioning it from a dream.
This is my goal as an artist .

#1 We are supposed to have a temple picture in our homes.
#2 Not just a temple shot, but something more .
#3 Something our children and ourselves will look at and be reminded in a more profound way.
#4 Viewer: To view the shot I intend for the person from afar to say "ah yes, a temple picture;"
then they look closer and realize it has their family in it; then they realize it doesn't look like a photo but rather a painting; look really close they find faint personal quotes throughout it that describe their unique family."

Give me your input if you will. . . .

I want these trademarked cfamily masterpieces to be a physical, spiritual and emotional journey. Something not ordinary; the family will cherish for a long time, and be reminded of our sacred purpose on earth. A moment to help remember. . .

This is the Lott family. Thank You for allowing me to use you as my test go.

I am excited and feel it will be very fulfilling Art to create with families.

Body Worlds Exhibit

This Exhibit was amazing. My mom was so kind to take me last night. It made my appreciation and my testimony of Gods creation so vivid and real. I am so grateful for the divine creation our body is, and makes me want to do all I can to take care of this gift and my family. If you have a chance to see it. . . it is life changing. Our Body is a magnificant gift. Life is Divine.

For Amber

Amber ,
Thank you for being a great example and sharing your thoughts. I am so thankful for women like you who I can learn and grow from. You are one of those people I think my subconscious soul was drawn to get to know. . . I felt like we were connected somehow even before I met you. You are a beautiful person. It would be fun to figure out a time to do Yoga or walk together if possible.
Namaste until then.

Train of Thought

I really enjoyed and appreciated Brother Andereggs thoughts today at church. I have also been thinking a lot lately about the WHY? of the financial crisis. Is it a blessing to make us think more about what we set our hearts upon and the law of consecration? Why did the early saints live it and then not? Was it to hard to live in such a way? I know money is necessary and I appreciated in Conference when they talked about getting back to the simple essentials or needs. Going through some hard times we have been blessed so tremendously by the simple but beautiful attribute of sharing/ service from so many. Lately I've wondered, is this one aspect of becoming "one". I am so grateful for the service given by so many, and I feel an obligation to give of what I have, even if it may be small or simple. I hope I can live in such a way that no "thing" is ever too important that I can't share or give it.

Gratitude Moment

In Awe
While CharLee was at school today I listened to a BYU program on autism. I began thinking about when CharLee was 2-3yrs and finding out he was or had autistic tendencies. I remember feeling overwhelmed and broken hearted for his future, and I remember being naive to it all in a way. I really wanted to believe that there was nothing different about my first son I was so closely bonded with. I could not see it as clearly because he did respond to me; unlike others who were trying to connect. I also remember his tutors in California telling me I must be inspired because of how he reacts with me. I did feel Heavenly Father guided and gave that connection. Now that I have little Isabeau and realizing what is so called "normal" ,I can see why loved ones were concerned. I vividly remember knowing with out a doubt that he would progress and live a normal life and for that matter have a brilliance about his "differences." Last night I went in to his SEP with his school teacher. She sat I, Matthew and CharLee down and then went on to say he was a perfect student in every way and was even 4 levels ahead in areas 4 years ago there were concerns. I know Heavenly Father has blessed him and us in ways we might not even understand. I am so incredibly grateful and in awe of my children, coming into a world of so much confusion. I pray I can be the Mother and guidance they will need to succeed , in whatever capacity. I feel inadequate at times, and so put my whole trust in our Father that he will guide me as a perfect tool in mothering these precious spirits.

For Sydnee

More than just friends. . .
This is a artwork piece of Liz Lemon Swindle entitled " More than just friends."Every time I see it I think of my dear friend Sydnee. Or each time I talk to her I think of this sweet bond Emma had depicted in this painting. I am so grateful for Sydnee in my life. The first time we met we knew we Knew each other before. As Syd would say "Our souls ran out to meet each other" and we were instantly bonded. I have never had such a friend, especially a girlfriend growing up with all boys, who I completely relate to and look up to. Sydnee has been through so much and I often catch myself saying,"If Syd made it through this, I can do it." I am so thankful for a friend that is pure heart and real goodness. There is nothing superficial or fake, all heart, soul and spirit. She is a true saint, a beautiful mother, a strong woman, a true friend of which I am so thankful for her influence and example in my life. We talked this morning and have gone through similar feelings since she moved away. . we agree that sometimes you just need that friend that you feel lifted and spiritually motivated and progressed when you spend time together. Thank you for your dear friendship Syd, I will always cherish it.

Conference Oct. 2008

Beautiful Messages that sang to my heart:
I like to take notes at each Conference and here are a few of my favorite messages/thoughts from our prophets:

"Come What May, and Love It!"
"Learn to Laugh."
"Every tear today will be returned a hundred fold with tears of Joy."
" Put your trust in the Lord, Do your best, then leave the rest to him."

" Angels are still sent."
" This is not time to fear, but be believing and remember our covenants."
"Our Need for Unity, move toward becoming One."
Search for anything to agree or truth to agree upon to become a peacemaker. "Differences can be seen as an opportunity, something they bring which you lack." Don't judge others. When the Savior judges you, he will generously forgive you. "Have Christian Courage."
"Do not retaliate, turn the other cheek; we stand with the Savior, that is not weakness, that is Christian Courage."
"Opposition can be seen as an opportunity."
"Nothing is as constant as change."
Live each day to the fullest with great gratitude.

"You pile up a bunch of tomorrows and you collect up empty yesterdays."
"He is not asking us to walk across the continent, but across the street."
"We can't afford to be superficiously righteous."
"He isn't asking us to be a martyr but to live a disciples Life."
"Find Joy in the Journey, NOW!"

I am not sure I took these quotes down perfectly but the messages are perfect. I am so grateful each day I live, and to know how much my Savior loves me through his servants messages. I have been fed and am full of gratitude.

New News

pHor Baby: An organic journeySo this last week has been quite busy and full of new things. I had a day dream I guess you would say about an Organic Baby product line. At first I thought that's fine but nothing would really happen. Then I realized with my parents and the great things they have done for so many, that maybe they would see this idea as beneficial for their purposes of helping people become well. So I wrote Dad an email and he said it sounded great and Mom was also excited. I think with how much my parents have already done to guide which is a lot. Young Mothers I talk to would rather give up than help their family live more natural because of the complexity, they feel overwhelmed by the idea of change. So I thought just starting with ideas like this, it might open up all kinds of ideas to help the Young Mothers find that changing the lifestyle can become more simple. I would name the line "pHor Baby"and "pHor Kids" and put little Isabeaus pic on the products. I can see lotion, wash, ointments, powder, baby food grinders, kid friendly cook books, child safe bottles, child safe alkaline house cleaners, organic clothing/onesies, natural products like colostrum, omegas, snack bars etc. . . In a society where everything is fast food, pre packaged, instant gratification, go and buy more lifestyle; it would be awesome to help the kids go back to a simple life, appreciate pure foods and create a desire to take care of the world and our bodies our Father in Heaven gave us. My desire is only to help young Mothers realize how simple taking care of the family in a more natural organic way can be. The children are beautiful perfect souls that make me motivated to be become better for them. I am excited to create a new journey of things. I am grateful for the knowledge I have been given and the blessings from it, and hope it may help others. It would be fun to create.

For my Brother and Sister

Happy Anniversary! I meant to do this a few weeks ago. I remember taking this moment, in awe, what a beautiful moment. I love you both so much. . . .so much ahead of you. Luvs, Ashley
